Bottom of Nothing

Sunday, November 19, 2017. Hello to the last few readers who check this. This has been a great way to keep a journal for our family but it is time to move on. If you will email me, I would be happy to share more photos with you about the kids. But, I am not going to be posting to this blog anymore. Monday, October 30, 2017. Ah, thank you my son. Consistent sleeping through the night is making life easier on all of us. I love you! Links to this post.

The Dewey Quadrant

Saturday, March 17, 2018. I found myself alone for a few hours with Richie this morning. I gathered some friends to play with us, which happened to be 70-year-old dolls made by my grandmother. I have worked for a few weeks to restore the dolls. Richie conked out much sooner than I expected and took a long nap. When he awakened, I tried to find some fun things for us to do. He liked rolling around on the floor. He practiced sitting, which he actually enjoyed very much. He was fascinated with my camera.

Templo y Eternidad

New Temple in Provo

Thursday, August 13, 2015. First of all, there are a lot of beehives. Each doorway, including the towers, now has two. As I stood at the west gate to take this picture, I moved aside to let some contractors pass. Why did they have scaffolding? I hunted for a spot below the post office wall to watch what they were doing. I stood directly under these beautiful flowers, in the shade.

On this site you will find small galleries of each of the LDS temples I have visited, and a small sample from each visit I have made. I am currently rebuilding this entire site from the ground up in WordPress. All the Galleries are up to date now, but be patient while I polish the look and feel. Build In Holy Places

Sunday, July 19, 2015. San Diego, California- Guest Build. We were happily surprised to find these pictures in our inbox a few weeks ago. As is apparent, we have slowed WAY down on our own building of LEGO temples. We are grateful we did it when we could and hope to continue our family tradition, just at a slower pace. Thanks to Jaren Ford for sending this to us! 4142 pieces, 40x40 base and about 50 bricks high.

Redeemer of Israel

What was the birth of Jesus like? Ask almost anyone about the setting of the birth of Christ, and you will likely be told about a stable, a wooden manger filled with hay, animals surrounding the baby Jesus, and snow falling outside as the shepherds enter the stable to worship the king of Kings. Stone manger found in Tel Megiddo in Israel.

brittany morrell Brittanys latest adventure

My Randstad-VSO placement flew by too fast! I have learned a lot about working in a civil society organization and have really enjoyed participating in the field visits and meetings. That evening we had a lovely dinner date then.
